Ironman 70.3 New Orleans 2016

Half Ironman race in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 17, 2016. Brutal wind conditions were experienced by the triathletes. Many said the swim on this day was one of the hardest swim they have raced in! More swimmers were pulled from the water than ever before at this race venue! Major headwind were encountered on the way out on the bike. However, that turned into favorable tailwinds coming back. The run was the opposite! Major headwinds were encountered on the 2nd half of the run. Overall, race went well and some amazing days were had by triathletes of all skill levels!
